We're not ones to blow our own trumpet; that's why we let others do it for us. The Garden Gate has one of the best pub gardens in London, says online drinking guide Fluid Foundation. And who are we to argue? It could be something to do with our covered dining area - keeping you and your tucker dry in our fickle British climes. Or the outdoor bar, perhaps: no need to traipse inside to get the beers in.

The BBQ is also draw, and understandably so when you taste our handmade burgers. Or maybe it's just the chilled out, friendly vibe. Either way, our garden's the perfect retreat whatever the occasion, even if it's just stopping off for a swift Sierra Nevada after a long walk on the Heath.
